British Sailor Tony Bullimore dies aged 79

It was reported yesterday that Sailor Tony Bullimore had died aged 79.

Mr Bullimore became a household name in 1997 after surviving for four days in the upturned hull of his boat ‘Exide Challenger’ which had capsized during a solo round-the-world-race.

He had been diagnosed with a rare form of cancer.
